I just heard about this today. Apparently if you use Origin or Steam you can buy digital games from other countries to find a better deal.

People were saying games in Mexico or India for example often sell for 50% or cheaper than here in the US.

This sounds almost too easy. Anyone know anything about this? Is it really as simple as changing your location to Mexico and saving 30+ dollars on a game? Why isn't everyone doing this?

I know several Europeans who do this because they pay the same prices we do...just in Euros instead of dollars. It works, but only for some games though. Others are region locked.

I bought Divinity: Original Sin which is not on sale anywhere for 25 dollars off a russian on ebay, as opposed to the full 40 dollars it is selling for everywhere else. No, you don't need to speak the language that the game code came from.

When you don't pay MSRP, the terrorists win.
