Undead bane is permablessed but better...it doesn't take the same slot as permablessed, and for all mechanical purposes it's not permablessed, but effectively, it can hit all undead without a bless and, in this case, has fire flares against undead...long story short, it can hit any undead when wielded by any class regardless of cleric or paladin or blessed or not, like a permablessed, and it also flares fire against undead....but doesn't flare fire against living...at least this is my assumption from the limited information the OP provided coupled with my knowledge of game mechanics. It should be a 5x nagi against everything, and a 5x fire flaring nagi against undead, with the ability to be used by any class against undead, regardless of bless or class ability.

The bastard swords does inspect as a bastardsword (newstyle) - I dont think that you can find any oldstyles, if you do as soon as you swing, they convert.

The naginata is undead base - it is always blessed against undead and flares on both living and undead.

Not to me. Damage weighting randomization killed it for me. Lots of damage weighting was fun before that.
