Do what Anebriated did. Get just enough enhancives to swing it at 5 seconds, train enough air lore for the haste bonus, have a pocket wizard, and promptly swing at 1 or 2 seconds. =)

And no, no fusion. I could have projected it 7x fusion instead of 7x perfect, but it's simple math to me.

I can get all the enhancives I want in other slots like my neck, ears, what have you.

I can't get forging on anything but my weapon.

I will offer you a cool 25m on this piece as weighting on a lance is worthless and since I too am a Paladin I don't need it to be 10x, 7x would have been just fine. I also don't believe in being gory so those scripts are pointless as well! Who would use this in the rift with the chance for it to be voided?! So the EPB is a no go either...bah!

So a 7x perfect T5 lance is something I would be interested in!

Its all relative to the end rolls you are getting. A paladin's ability to prone their opponent most, if not all, the time and the easily obtained and sustained high AS means that you are probably at overkill with 1605, 10x, and perfect. Adding in the HCW would certainly help if you were using it against resistant or padded creatures, but you typically don't aim the lance and would use precision to make it crushing.

In all the lance vs maul debates it has been the lance on top by a significant amount for raw damange vs aimed with the maul for crushing head shots.

Got no interest in poleaxe flares, as nothing lasts that long to need them while warcamping.

Upon that, poleaxe is a script that several GM's will not remove to put another script on in it's place.

As I want super bubble flares for this weapon, and gory is a noncombat script, gm's would be nicer with mine =).

Is weighting really pointless on a lance?

As I understand it, Once you top out the crit rank on a swing (e.g. at 45 base damage on robes, 99 on plate), weighting will play no factor in the resulting crit - it's gonna be a rank 5-9 shot with or without weighting.

I have a sorcerer swinging a lance, and since I usually leg things first (708), I am usually taking very high damage swings. I would mostly prefer higher enchant to weighting on my d00d. (Currently swinging 7x t3 perfect maxlight ironwright, forever conflicted about Aneb's 8x t3 perfect maxlight).

Edit: looks like you got it to t5 Aneb, nice :-) I might finally not get any takers for my next set of necrojuice and might head that way myself.

Edit2: I hope to one day kill a few destroyers, and with my sorc's self-spell AS, I would love the weighting in that situation specifically.

Even for a heavy hitter like Dhairn that weighting comes in handy. If you've seen some of his clips from the scatter at times he only just scratches a lich but because of the weighting it gets creamed anyway.

an epic weapon without the ability to hit undead unless you're a paladin <-- that's the most important part.

If you're hunting undead as a non-paladin, it's moot and half the shit's wasted anyways. Most undead aren't corporeal, so the weighting is wasted. Better to get some plain jane enchanted weapon to bless. Purify + pure potion = GG. This is for everything else under the sun. Like Scatter, OTF, Invasion critters, etc. Nelamar too, but the expb doesn't work on much there, if at all. Unsure, as I hate Nelemar.

According to http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Noncorporeal_critical_table, it's not completedly wasted... just mostly wasted. Apparently you still do the damage associated with the crit, just not the stun/injury/knockdown/death.

Looking at capped undead... Nelemar = 2 incorporeal, Rift = 2 corporeal and 1 incorporeal. Evens out nicely.
Unless you start counting the crap you can barely learn from like Vaespilon, N'ecare, Lost souls = 2 more coporeal, 1 incorporeal.

And as goat has pointed out you max out at rank 9 anyways, most of the time it's wasted except on crit padded critters like destroyers and crap with like 650 DS like liches.
