Routers..port forward bla bla help plz

So i cant figure out how to open a port to allow downloads via Dc++ one of you geeks help me.

you set up port forwarding on your router and you disabled any XP firewall?

Disable windows firewall

its not the firewall its my router, when im not using it then i have no problems.
