Is there a level requirement for this? I have 60 ranks of climbing but always fall and die going back to illistim. I'm level 48. Any ideas?

are you badass enough to run with empty hands and in offensive stance?

Eh I mean my ranger is level 100 with 40 ranks of climb and GOS and has NO problems. I'd prefer not to go offensive and weapon less haha

This sounds like another update that I missed, will someone please post a link to the map with this shortcut?

Thanks!

"Sergeant Corilaera of the Vaalorian Army and a squad of citizen volunteers, on an exploratory mission investigating reports of increased creature activity north of Glaise Cnoc, have discovered the remains of an ancient elven-built road. This dangerous path stretches from the north part of the Ta'Vaalor graveyard to the Gyldemar Road, outside the approach to Old Ta'Faendryl."

I just use ;go2 which travels that way by default now (you can disable it).

Here's what Ponzzz said about it a few years back:

Ok, found it... LOTS and LOTS of swim/climb checks. The oak tree is taking more than 50 ranks of climbing. Give me a second.

Ok... 60 ranks does it. Takes about 2 minutes, more or less depending on your RTs for each swim/climb. I was at 50/50 for climb/swim ranks. Grabbed 10 more in climbing and didn't see any trouble.

Oh, okay thanks Khariz. I was hoping it was a shortcut from the Landing to the EN, heh.

Perhaps when I get back in-game I will finally try Lich and go2.

Ahh, no, it's a very slight time savings on going between T'V and T'I without the boat ride.

I though it was a lot faster then taking the ferry but I've never actually timed it. I have 60 climbing and 30 swim and I fall usually going to illistim.

I have gone a few times but I'm at 50 climbing, 200 PT and the big one is to be not encumbered. If you are heavily encumbered you can die.
