Brushed Mithril Message Worm

Does anyone have any experience attuning the message worms?

I found an older post with most of the commands - Link (http://forum.gsplayers.com/showthread.php?52514-a-fat-invar-message-worm&p=1105790#post1105790)

I've fed the worm a smooth stone and it now looks healthy and energetic, but when I tickle it to attune it to myself I get the message:


s>tickle worm
The worm appears to be too focused on something else right now.

I'm wondering if perhaps it only attunes once and can't be attuned again, or am I missing a command?
