Missing runestaff

Yeah I assisted yesterday and they said it hadn't been janitor'd.

was it registered/marked/labeled? mossbark isn't something I'd immediately think to look for an owner of.

Yep it was both registered and marked.

I haven't seen it, but I must point out that I would likely consider a mossbark runestaff to be randomly generated unless the pawn value was unusually high. I suggest checking the pawn shop in town and Mist Harbor to be sure it wasn't sold.

I could be wrong but items sold to pawn shops dont always show up in the town they were sold in.

You're right - I forgot about that fact. I believe the odds are in favor of the item going to the same town, but an item can end up in another pawn shop in another town. I do not know the mechanics of how this works.

Just for curiosity's sake, was there anything special about it? What were the stats on it? I've got runestaves rotting in my locker.

It would have sold at the pawnshop for a ridiculous price and would have flagged the 35k message in addition to not being sellable since it was marked as unsellable.

Ok, I got it back from the GMs. Apparently someone threw it away.
