Well...he wasn't kidding about the town making the wrong choice...
10x HCP Full Plate doesn't do a thing against the power of Cross.

After a ton of different phases to the invasion including mind-wiped townspersons, krolvin by ship at the dock, vultures by air, legionnaires by ground, and undead kobolds, followed by demons like deathshades and succubi, the evening ended with the following speech:
Speaking to Elithain, Mohrgan vows, "When I kill you, Lorminstra will take pity on your soul...even you..."
Elithain grins coldly, his eyes reflecting no emotion.
Elithain says, "For those of you, who see the light, unlike many of your town..."
Elithain says, "I will return for those, who seek to join me."
Elithain says, "The rest of this town? Will burn."
You see Lord Elithain Cross the Summoner of the Arcane Eyes.
He appears to be a Human from Mestanir.
He is short and appears to be old. He has squinted sharp silver eyes and wrinkled skin. He has short, receding light grey hair. He has a creased face, a hooked nose and thick grey eyebrows. A series of pink burn scars have disfigured the left side of his neck. He is surrounded by a barrier of blue light. He is surrounded by a barrier of blue light.
He is in good shape.
He is holding a gnarled fireleaf scepter capped with a pristine shard of onyx in his right hand.
He is wearing a pair of ebony leather boots, an obsidian eye-shaped talisman, a smooth grey leather satchel, some heavy crimson suede robes, a black leather belt set with icy blue gems, and a gold-stringed brown cloth sack.
A brilliant icy blue light illuminates the area, obscuring Elithain in its radiance! When the light dims, Elithain is gone.

The least he could of done was not wear his boots on his head.

Kenstrom lays down the law RE Teclys:
>>I think I would be fine with what he did if the 50 million coin fine was his only choice for punishment or a month worth of time in jail. Even though he was intentionally disruptive I do not like to see people banned. I'd much rather he get punished severely in the game in some way.
This did not go unnoticed, and was not 100% dealt with at the time, because I refused to put everything on hold because of the disturbance. The crash already delayed stuff. So stocks for the rest of the night was a good, and appropriate fix at the time. I will be dealing with this issue however.
This storyline is designed specifically to create division, tough decisions, and character conflict. The key in all of this, is "character" conflict. Claiming to "join" Cross and then mass murdering players? It's not roleplay, period. It's abusing my storyline to try to disguise PvP. Except, everyone sees through the disguise. I fully expect there to be attacks between players from time to time, when the conflict calls for it. Some people prefer their conflict to word play, which is often even more challenging and rewarding. But yes, players will die from other players, it's going to happen. But we all need to make sure it's done with the proper motives and in the proper time. If someone is mass murdering and causing a disruption, and making people log off and turn away from the event, and more bothered by that then a system crash, that should absolutely be avoided.
So this is my last warning. To the one who was involved in the mass murder last night, you will be banished from Wehnimer's Landing. There are consequences for actions. This is my attempt to salvage an ugly incident with some measure of in-game roleplay. A mass murderer would not be welcomed in town. Now, if the killing spree continues beyond this warning, I will employ other forms of punishment at our disposal for dealing with high maintenance players who become disruptive to gameplay.

Good. That was a real asshole move. We all know that open imploding a room is not really RP no matter how much Teclys wants it to be true.
