Would it be possible to add flares to armor accessories, such as leg greaves, using premium points?
What type of flares could be added, just the basic elemental flares or are some of the special flares like grapple/void/bind available?

Yes, but you're better off buying them, and no just the basic flares

I second that. It'd be a waste of points considering how often the service is offered and how many there are floating around.
Check the player shop.

The only thing I'd ever consider spending PP's on for a partial armor would be if I had a greathelm with the perfect enhancives on it and I wanted to get it padded. I would be tempted to put HCP on it and then try to get more padding via merchants. It'd be a long term project for sure.

Interesting, thanks guys.
Archigeek, yes I have thought about the best way to protect the head is to combine high enchant armor with a crit padded helm. Then shots to the head/neck/eyes get the benefit of both the enchant and the padding. Clearly if you can get armor that is high enchant and crit padded that's the best, but usually there is a choice (do I get good padding or high enchant?)

Actually you will find quite a few warriors out there who don't use padded or high enchant armor. I us TD armor, a few have flaring armor, or kroderine.
