I'll sell you a capped paladin and a 10x t5 hcw/expbmcw lance maxlight with alter and auction level gory unlock! Tada! Permabless forever!

Here's how much I hate Paladins. When I was level 62, I converted Madmountan to paladin. Played him all the way to level 80, hated it, paid the fee to revert back and then leveled up all over again.

Hahaha! It's hilarious fun with a good weapon. Never need to swap, never need to pay attention to anything except MStrike, loot, and 'where the crap do I put all these boxes?'.

For, me the allure of playing a warrior is not having to deal with mana at all. Not having to cast spells. This is why my lazy ass would rather buy a undead bane maul than cause my own cleric to bless me.

Err... Jeril casts all the time. And he's one of the leading warriors in the game. You redux doesn't get doinked enough for it to matter when you can cast 117 and e-wave on something gnarly looking to eat your face. Warriors aren't cookie-cutter so bad anymore that they can't ever train magical stuff. Think on it! Improve your life!

... Plus Paladin AS is > Warrior. Hehehe.

I didn't say anything about casting hurting redux. I said I don't LIKE casting. I said the fun part of being a warrior is not having to fuck with that. You can't change my opinion on that. My opinion was worth hundreds of dollars and hundreds of wasted hours of playtime. I think I'm pretty firm in my opinion.

I've played every class to cap in the game expect bard, at least once. When I tell you I hate mana and casting, I mean it. There's a reason my "main" has always been a warrior.

I've only played a rogue, a wizard, a cleric, and a paladin at cap. Mana is fun!

Unless, I'm doing something wrong - this is not true.

After spending last night with you, I concur.

LOL

I mean, I just went through the lore charts to make sure, but everything a paladin can do for AS, a warrior should net +35 more AS total.

This is assuming normal scrolls & training, equivalent gear for each and no 425 item for the paladin (+10 if they somehow have one anyway)

Also, finally! :D

Rep comment:
Most warriors wont have 425 or use a million scrolls but most paladins will have all their spells

I agree with the first part, but I am comparing theoretically possible max AS between the two classes.

Scrolls are common enough to both and I'm not talking alot of attack boosting ones anyway (maybe 5 scrolls? less if you use potions or comparable items). Comparable society, enchants, stat bonuses, race etc.

By all paladins spells, I count a total of two (dauntless & zealot), one of which is found on scrolls. With max lores, that is +59 AS. I mistakenly counted a dauntless item in the total above (used to using EG item) so taking that away the difference is less, but I didn't count in guild skills (mostly war cry). The lore bonus from earth for strength items is the same for both classes and religion lore (even at 1/3 benefit) eats away more at the zealot boost so only +25 AS of the paladin boosts is left.

Or, to make it easier - neither class uses common scrolls or items and the boosts from war cry & bonded weapon and berserk equal the +59 AS from a fully lore trained paladin. So max self generated AS is +50 warrior (from 425 + 50).

Correct my math if I'm wrong somewhere please.

Regardless of whether it is 10 points this way or that way, both can be pretty badass. I'm willing to not have that extra 100AS during regular hunts to not have to deal with magic though.
