[Sharlatta's Frippery] Room 4 - an elongated pale green tent
In the Elven language, it reads:
~ Sharlatta's Frippery: Where Every Thread Counts ~

Dear Client,

The designs offered within were crafted with the masked ball in mind, and you will find that the overall style and cut of garments, as well as the fabrics, lean toward finery. The jewelry and masks were developed under the tutelage of several talented Loenthran craftsmen.
Do be aware that closer inspection is necessary for some attire, though not for all, and pricing is varied. Save for the masks, cane, and parasol, there are no special properties to the finery, though I have sewn pockets into some of the outerwear. If you do opt to procure a mask from this collection, be certain to analyze it thoroughly for details on its particular craftsmanship.
For this particular occasion, I have opted to gear the attire towards a single tone of spring just beginning to peek out of winter: greens, ivories, and gold. I hope that you will find something here that is pleasing to your fashion palate.

Warm Regards,
Sharlatta

Some of the containers are over the VLA size in the new ranges...which makes them larger than my max deepened backpack that I have now.

Just did a run through of the items and have a log file. Going to scrub through it and update with info in the morning. Sleep is dragging me down into its murky depths now.

I think it's POUR cream on tattoo. I remember it taking me forever to figure it out.

I just bought a smaragdine suede backpack clasped with a silver leaf - backworn, Significant amount, 47k.

It weighs 7 pounds, its scripted when you open and close it. Not a bad purchase.

I just bought something that's pretty neat...

a pair of oval silver wire frame eyeglasses for 100k.

You see Lady Nairena the Airweaver.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Lassaran D'ahranal.
She is shorter than average and appears to be very young. She has silvery nightshade purple eyes and fair skin. She has long, loose honey blonde hair. She has an angular face, a thin nose and sharp pointed ears. Perched on the bridge of her nose, she wears a pair of oval silver wire frame eyeglasses that perfectly frame her eyes and lend her a studious air.

>push my eye
You absentmindedly push the bridge of your wire frame eyeglasses with your index finger.

Not bad for 100k!

These are my favorite item of the festival, if you ANALYZE them you'll see how they can be altered to have a unique worn description. I'm excited to see the merchant come out and work on them!

Do you know if any of the other glasses have different off the shelf looks?

Agreed -- these are the prize of the festival, I'd say. Really awesome, you can customize the look and get them unlocked once to boot.

You know you're a pedantic roletard when you read through an entire festival's worth of awesome shit and are all uppity like "well I can't use any of this shit at all"

Unfortunately that happens all the time. Not that I expected a lot from an elven festival, I was hoping to see some climate wear roll out.

There is some cool stuff here, the glasses are awesome, I just can't use any of it.

I haven't been around long enough to see many events. (I got to shop at Cynegir, Talador, and now Illistim.) I try to keep an open mind and I know I don't need have the stuff I buy. It's when you come across those gems like an armor cover, nice looking armor, and cool glasses that you hope you can use it eventually during your lifetime. Or will it simply remain in your locker collecting dust.

If I remember correctly, from hearing the old timers, such items like fel hafters, forest green brig, those attuning spidersilk cloaks, and those hooded spidersilk cloaks were also merely items that could be bought at event shops.

Anyway, keep on shopping.

The attuning spidersilk cloaks still appear at events. They've been in the Skeptic for the past two years at EG.
