It gets the job done, and a lot of people use it so the downloads are generally fast.

Unless you want porn and uncontaminated, fucked up music. If you want those things, don't use Kazaa.

I've only downloaded 2 fucked up songs. Closer by NIN and some Modest Mouse song. Out of ~400 downloads, that isn't bad.

Back in...02 I think, when I had my super connection on campus, me and my flatmates downloaded probably about 300 gb in six months. I have close to 10k mp3s and music video's now, and I tell you, the amount of corrupt files on Kazaa. Entire albums would start off alright, then go all shit. Stuff like Bowie, NIN, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, anything.

Edonkey seems to still work pretty decently. Especially if you can't find something on Kazaa

Soulseek is really good for music rarely is there something I want they don't have even when its really obscure and its laid out where the whole albums will pop up in a roll if you put band name or artist in because it goes by user.

I think for the basic user trieng to download music, Limewire is a good program.
