Player Shops Item Stats

Sorry if this is the wrong section, but I'm really trying to figure out where to buy some low enchant gear. Some of the items on the (lichproject) playershops website have "It imparts a +xx bonus more than normal", but some just have a "small enchanter's glyph"

For example, there is a set of full leathers at the shop I've linked. The playershops website does not list an enchantment bonus, but the sign claims "everything is 3x".

What's going on here? Why do some items list the bonus and others not? I'd assume the sign is accurate, I'd suppose there's too many of these for it to just be people lying about the items...

A shopkeeper has to have a bard sing to an item before he lists it in order for it to show it's stats via playershops. If they don't sing to it prior to posting it, they'll only show the enchanter's glyph.

Does the bard need to perform the song while in the shop with the keeper present? I have a bard alt that I'd love to use to sing to stuff, drop it, and post it with Whirl.

Thanks for the info. There are a lot of irresponsible shop owners out there then. No singing, and no indication on the sign what enchant might be on their wares. Oh well.

No, Whirlin. If memory serves, you have 30 minutes to post the item from the time the bard sings, until the song degrades on the item. I do it on an alt all the time.

or ones with no access to bards. use ;wood and ;metal on Lich to get a list of base material enchants

I know what the base material enchants are. I'm referring to various armour and such that's not labeled and not made of anything with a base enchant.
