So what's the best way to sell one's Gemstone accounts? I have at least two (long retired) accounts I'd be happy to get rid of. Between them, they have capped or near-capped rogues, sorcerers, wizards and warriors. I assume all of the characters have FIXSKILLS available. Some will be masters of CoL or Voln. Beyond that, I really don't remember much about what these little fuckers have. Some crafting on some. Some warrior guild shit on others, and so on...

If I want to pass these accounts and/or characters off to today's script-kiddies and money-bags who like to buy their way into the game, do I have to reinstate the accounts and figure out exactly what these toons have?

well in general people will pay more if they know what they are getting, and likely you will need someone else to verify that items and maybe characters are what you say they are, the hazards of being an unknown seller and all that.

You are probably hurting yourself by insulting potential buyers.

You'd be rude too if Gelston's cock was making a freeway out of the alleyway your asshole used to be. Poor Elantari.

Wait, you've played since crafting was released?

I thought you said you were returning from some incredibly long hiatus. Crafting hasn't been around that long.

On a helpful note, take a moment to look through character sale folder. You'll see a trend on how things are done. The more detail, the better confidence people will have and the more cash you'll get. You'll likely need to reopen the accounts and get all the stats/skills/etc. If you don't feel like doing that you'll be taking a huge loss OR not make a sale at all.

Good luck man, I'll be interested to see what you've got collecting dust.

He is a pretty constant liar, and this has been established. I'd say his credibility is at about 0.

I remember fletching and some warrior guild stuff. I've done some on-off playing, though not much, since my main break from the game. I'm fairly sure the last time I logged in was over five years ago.

If you have FIXSKILLS available, do stats/skills matter? Also, what else matters beyond that (other than items)? I assume some folks care about CoL/Voln, but I really don't see why. It's trivial to pick that up. I also assume that Warrior Guild Mastery makes a difference. Is there new shit that makes a big difference in sale price? I've seen some stuff about Ensorcelling...

Stats still matter because fixskills won't fix those. If a fixstat is needed its gonna lower your price, since they have to buy a fixstat, and you have to sell a lot of property to afford those. Guild skills are a plus. An annoying name might be a minus. Stats play a part in ensorcell so if you tanked a relevant stat that can hurt.

Thanks. I was a number cruncher back in the day when it came to building. I doubt I tanked any important stats, unless important stats have changed? What was the fucker named? Sylven something? The guy who produced the math guide to sorcerers? That was pretty solid shit when it came out.
