Since the Spurs have pretty much wrapped up the NBA finals, and there are no real sports (save the World Cup, for which we already have a thread) between now and college football season, I thought we should probably get this thread started.

Champion: Florida State (no brainer here)

Heisman: Jameis Winston

Nagurski: Jaylon Smith

Butkus: Jaylon Smith

The pacers won game 1 of the eastern conference finals too. How'd that go for them?

2011 Chi, 2012 OKC, 2013 Chi and SA, 2014 Ind - the Heat are 5-0 when losing game 1. Pretty bizarre.

Heisman Trophy predictions are way too early. Freshmen seem to be popular for them now, coming from having 0 before that, so who knows what could pop up.

Will be a great contest like it always is and I look forward to it every year. Alabama LSU and Alabama Auburn are my two favorite games every year. Alabama Razorbacks is my least favorite because I feel like we put on a bad show when we go there.

I was at BD for last year's LSU @ Bama game. It was a good one up until the 4th.

The problem was that I was with a die-hard Bama fan, so I couldn't openly root for LSU. If I go to Death Valley, it'd be a blast. I'm already planning it.
