How did you "discover" the Players Corner?

On my part, someone mentioned my little spat with Teeoncy and gave a false account as to how it happened, which a friend who, in the main, lurks here pointed out to me.

I posted the correct details and it was downhill from there :)

Someone was discussing the Forus issue, I believe, and I had to come. Or that might've been SR and I might've come here because of the Adyria issue which I was also involved in.

Way back when I actually played gemstone, I think I heard of the Unofficial Gemstone boards from the actual game boards. I liked The Spot because it was less moderated and full of decent info.

Then at some point someone got pissed at the spot and made these? I think... man, has it been that long?

I was linked here from the main BBS before it went poof for a few weeks and then came back again. I used to avidly read the official boards, now I barely skim them and post maybe twice a month (and that's a healthy estimate). We might have our share of idiots here, but I'd take Warclaidhm over some of the board whores over there any day.

After the-spot kept getting on me, edgeleaf, and GOD's case about our posting, Kranar told us about this site buckwheat had made where we could act however we wanted. Eventually Caels took over and I convinced him we needed to upgrade PC so we could have polls, and him and his buddy Comicraft made this site, and after a few months we converted to this current site and its gotten huge since.

Whatever my registered date is, is when I started posting. The person I considered my friend told her sister that I (and another PC poster) were slamming on her in a chat room. (Which I wasn't, I was talking about Atheana.) This sister then went and bitched about us in a thread she made and THEN decided to talk to me face to face in game about what had happened.

Needless to say, the issue was cleared up but I rarely (if ever) speak to them anymore.

Goes to show, get your facts straight before slamming on here. But most of us already knew that. ;)
