Update: Boon has changed his Twitter profile image to the dragon logo on the poster, therefore basically making this an official leak! HYPE!

It looks like we may have gotten the first real taste of what is coming our way on June 2nd. As Boon has been hinting at something to happen on June 2nd (right before E3) today a mysterious Reddit user posted a Mortal Kombat poster. Could this be a leaked E3 poster and what is to come for the next Mortal Kombat?

Yeah that ruined it a lot for me. Fortunately there was a pretty decent offline tournament scene around here but you can't do that from your couch in your underwear.

Hopefully they'll get it right this time. It was better with Injustice but still laggy enough to make it a totally different game than offline.

Holy shit, some new moves! Aside from the x-rays, which I don't really count, when was the last time we've seen that? Being able to toss ice clone seems kinda nice when someone obviously isn't going to hit it.

PSN seems to be better than XBL this time around, at least from what I've been hearing so far. My PS4 has basically been a Netflix player for most of the time I've had it though, so I can't exactly say from first hand experience.

Roommate wants to keep his PS4 in his room for the blu ray, what a homo...Plus, KI is for the One only still so that may be another persuasion towards that system. Also heard they are planning on patching the gpu/cpu since it was reserved alot for the Kinect, which should allow them to also use 1080p, who knows. Fuckin choices.

Well, we all have been waiting to hear from Mortal Kombat's design team on a release date for Mortal Kombat X, the highly-anticipated installment in their legendary fighting game series. Well, just this morning an image confirming just that was released, but that's not the only revelation coming to light. If you pre-order the game, which is apparently set to be released on April 14, 2015, you will get the chance to play as the infamous Shokan boss character, Goro!

Playing as him in any of the games where he was an unlocked character, hidden or otherwise, was SUCH a BITCH, though. I mean seriously. His combo setups were just ridiculously stupid. Almost as bad as setting up a Kilgore Ultra on Killer Instinct.

That's because he wasn't a "normal" playable character in any of the other games. He was an overpowered boss character and wasn't balanced for regular gameplay.

I'm expecting him to be a heavy grappler in this game, somewhere along the lines of Bane/Doomsday in Injustice, Zangief in Street Fighter, etc.

He looks pretty much the same as he did in MK9. Hopefully they'll have classic costumes like before. I was never a big fan of Reptile looking like a reptile.
