MIU Question

I have a band that can hold blue, black or white crystals but I am unable to use it. I can use the crystals when they are not in the band but when i rub the band, nothing happens. Do I need MIU ranks to use the band or is that only for imbeds?

You need MIU. 20 ranks, I think, suffices.
