I'm thinking of planning a trip there in August. First of all, is that retarded? Is it going to be hot as balls? I was hoping maybe not since it's on the coast. Second, if anyone has been and has recommendations of places to go / things to do would love to hear them. I will have a week, so prob can't do more than two cities. It will be my girlfriend and I, no kids. Thanks!

I liked Marrakech while I was there. I was there for a week for a wedding over a Spring Break though, and I imagine August would be pretty hot. We did a tour by 4X4, a tour by camel, cooking classes, and some brief snorkeling/diving. The people were all really nice and receptive and the French restaurants were great. It's been like 7 years since I was there now but I think some of the tours we went on are still listed here.

Not sure why being near the coast would prevent it from being hot unless the water there happens to be really cold, I guess.
