What happened to the Great Elanthian Companion Project?

I just noticed this website is no longer up and running. While I don't consult it often because I have an animal companion, I always found it a pretty useful resource. Did anyone get around to saving it or is it maintained on another website now? It's a shame if it was lost.

Like some of the other helpful Gemstone websites, one can assume that this project was stopped due to lack of interest. This is merely a guess. I don't want to discourage you from continuing your search.
