Just a question, something that may help, actually.

That script for the hood is, in fact, the default messaging, +/- a couple words, for a functional concealer hood. I had one, as I recall, with near the same messaging, that wasn't functional. I contacted a GM, and they said it was simply disabled, through an error. Maybe yours can be the same? I had mine restored before I sold it last year. Either way, nice cloak. Good luck.
