Do people still buy Premium Points for cash?

Hello all. I know I show up as a new member, but I posted here as Vesi for years. I just couldn't remember my PW or which email I had used to signup, so I created a new account.

I was wondering if people ever bought Premium Points for cash? I have a ton of them. (seriously) I see some going for in game silvers. I might consider that, but not sure I'm staying in the game. Anyway, just was curious. Thanks.

Depends on who is in the market. If you catch the right person at the right time working on the right project who also happens to have cash on hand, then yes, you could likely get cash.

But with regard to cash, you're going to have to put up serious collateral or have a few solid people vouch for you if it ends up being a large transaction. If you're leaving the lands, they will likely sell a lot faster for cash if you sell off the rest of the account and then make it a total account takeover, and simply let the buyer do all of the work on his or her project.

Thank you, Palcron. I'm pretty sure I could have someone vouch for me. Been so long since I've been to the boards, I will have to look around and see who posts. (really regret I couldn't remember Vesi's login info) I was thinking about selling off those points and then consolidating the accounts into one account. I can't see my characters being played by anyone else.

Any idea how much they might go for? I just checked one account and it has 16,800 premium points. Probably about the same on the other accounts.

Checked all three. Over 50,000 points. Good grief! Anyway, the worst I will do is gift to people in game, if I can't sell. If I was sure I was staying, I might consider silvers. Just checking to see if anyone still buys these. I saw a couple posts, but they were all for silvers. Heck, I would even take a gift of adventure in return for payment. Give me longer to decide if I want to keep my accounts or cancel.

If you have that many points. You can sell them for HUGE amounts. Due to the fact a lot of the high end gear costs so much in PP to upgrade, it's hard to find sets as large as yours. Do your research and definetly extend a month. You'll make a lot more than a gift of adventure from that many points. Someone with a 7-8-9x ECP or MCP, or ECW or MCW armor/weapon will pay to upgrade that to 10x or so.

Yes, I didn't want to do a quickie sale until I found out how much they are worth. Of course, they are spread over 3 accounts. I figure this might take a little while, but I wanted to get started on it. Glad I remembered my old PW. I wouldn't have bought anything from me either!

Also, please be patient if I don't get right back to someone. Life still hasn't slowed down much, but at least I got this started.

Like I said, I am just getting started on this. I need to figure out what I want to do with my accounts. Most characters are mules. (meaning I have 50 million things I shouldn't have... even slate wands... ha!) So, I hope everyone will be patient with me. This could take awhile.

There's no need to worry about selling the account. No one knows me in Prime and I sold ~20k points within the last year while keeping my accounts.

Well, for years, two of my cousins had a couple of secondary characters on the other accounts. So, they paid for those. However, they have become uninterested in the past couple of years and don't care about the Premium points. If I end up going the cash route, they are both getting a gift.
