There are a couple places in the US that don't ever adjust their clocks.

We really need to just toss out this day-light savings crap. I hate fiddling with the clocks twice a year.

Daylight savings time adjustments are also good reminders to change out the batteries in your smoke/CO2 detectors.

Happy Halloween folks. :axe:

My favorite holiday of the year: An extra hour sleep, and $250 cash for my Halloween present.

I believe the correct term is Daylight Saving Time.

I can laugh because I've been there, once. Never again though.

I think that's Carbon MONoxide detectors.

:snickers: The training program guys at work totally forgot about daylight savings. I got a frantic email and phone-call this morning. Fortunately I was awake and prepared.

You mean damned World Wars. Farmers have/had nothing to do with it.

Love it in the fall, hate it in the spring.

The only people who deny farmers' involvement have farms. Coincidence?

:lol2:

I don't have my own farm yet. Yet being the key word.

You can blame Ben Franklin, Sandford Fleming, the railroad for standard time zones, and the World Wars for energy conserving efforts.

Farmers don't care about the time, they just care about the sun rise and sun set.

I wouldn't have known about it at all if microsoft didn't tell me

I ended up setting all my clocks back, except for my cell phone, which happens to be what I use for my alarm in the mornings. I ended up getting into work an hour earlier than normal, and I don't think I've ever felt so betrayed by Daylight Savings Time.

Good ol' Indiana. No time change so their's nothing to worry about. It messed me up in Boot Camp though because I woke up and it was daylight and I was like ohh shit.... but the drill instructor came out and yelled at us to sleep another hour because of the time adjustment. I had never gone through it before.
