Kudo's to Annie for winning 2 million in the Champions challenge championship in Texas Hold'em. The final few hands where she pwn'd Phil Helmuth was classic, I'm still laughing when she turned the 9, left the king down and freaked out Phil because he thought he threw in the better hand.

Wow, she won out of that group of the best guys in the world? Amazing. Though she did win a bracelet in one of the smaller tournaments and won a few hundred thousand.

She did a great job. He clearly thought that he was superior in every way to her, and she definately kept getting the cards.
He reminded me of Josh Farieh, he needs to sit down and :stfu:
I'm glad she won I would have punched the other guy in the face. Although I did laugh when she knocked her brother out of the tournement and he just left. He didn't stick around to see if she'd win she had to call him to let him know.

For someone I've never met, I have a lot of hatred directed towards Phil Helmuth. Annie winning is cool, regardless.

Phil Helmuth is a punk...I'm sorry I missed Annie's victory over him.

I didn't get a chance to watch the TOC because of work, but I sincerely hope she didn't do this if she was responsible for showing her cards. It is probably the most disrespectful thing you can do at a poker table. If you aren't going to muck or have the winning hand, show your fucking cards- not slow, not one a time, drop your fucking cards. To do otherwise is to have no couth.

Annie had a K9 in the hole, with a K9 in the flop, Phil also had a pair, but with her back raising after checking he got scared (rightly so) and folded.
Phil was goading her to show her cards and showed
his, because he was flipping out,he wasn't sure he had made the right decision in folding. If I had thought of it I would have done the same thing in a heartbeat,Phil is a bit much to take extremely condescending. Plus it freaked him out that he couldn't read her, smart poker if you ask me.

Have to disagree with you on that. Yes if you playing a friendly Sat. night game with the boys. If your playin high stakes poker, whatever you can do to keep your opponets off balance without being disprutive to the table is fair game. Watch the pro's at work, see if they care if they piss off the other pro's, there are millions at stake and they love to get their pictures on the walls.
