I believe this item holds 10 spells, not 10 scrolls. Or did they change it?

Mine holds 10 scrolls and it can be deepened to hold 20.

you're thinking of true scroll combiners

It holds 10 scrolls. Doesn't matter how many spells are on the scrolls.
