Hey all –

We’ve got dates for SimuCon 2014! We’ll be at the Westport Chalet again this year, from Aug 7 to Aug 11. Rooms will be $109/night – We’re still getting the paperwork finalized, but as soon as we get a group code for the room rate, we’ll post it here.

We’re going to be using the same funding model as last year. Admission to the convention will be free, though there will be a variety of perks if you donate to the crowdfunding effort.

Keep your eyes peeled for the IndieGogo campaign and the group code for the Westport rooms! Looking forward to seeing you in August!

I think there's the chance to drink and talk to friends. I've usually just preferred doing just that in other places and other settings. That and Simu games have more drama than a high school.

It would have been cool to meet some of the folks that used to play. I know Lunaflower went to at least one of these, really cute black gamer gal, she's been featured in a couple gamer chic videos and last I checked is in one of the elite WOW raid guilds, goes by the name Ishonbu.
