So at the CCF event a couple mistakes were made.

I was trying to add 10% cold and 20% impact resistance to some armor and then trying to run off for another service instead of double checking the work. I came to find out later that the extra 10% cold did not get added to the armor and I incorrectly assumed they added it to the fire side not knowing the exact messaging.

Wyrom was great and "fixed" them as I requested at CCF, however his fix included yet another mistake on my part due to the messaging again. I knew jack shit about resistances prior to this event and even posted up asking what the heck to do with them.

Wyrom and I were in contact through email, which was nice of him to do, and without knowing he must have set something up for me with the other GMs so Valyrka arrived to fix them but the armor was not on my character at the time but informed me they would fix them.

Fast forward a couple days later and Aiza showed up and fixed them up for me.

Considering three GMs were involved and basically it was my own dumbassery that got us to where they were and I ended up wasting their time...TWICE...I am glad they didn't lightning bolt my ass down.

So to all three of you, THANK YOU very much and hopefully this is the last time I try and mess with doing multiple levels of resistances.

Sounds like you qualify for a lightning bolt.

Says a lot about your character that you'd go out of your way to publicly thank people who saved you from a situation of your own making.

I was fairly impressed with just how much Wyrom was willing to bend over backwards for people at CCF. I could really see some good things happening for GS customer service if they ever made him APM.

There's a lot to be said for the extra work some of the GMs are putting in these days. Service has evolved, that's for sure. I for one am glad we don't see that much of the pissed off "take it or leave it" merchant anymore, and even when we do, the behind the mask service is generally very good.

And as someone who's done a decent amount of merchant deals with Buck, I'll say that he'll bend over backwards to make sure things work out the best they can as well. Then again, most of you guys already knew that so it didn't really need to be said.

I've had a number of really good experiences with Wyrom, Valykra and Vanah. Moreover GBB and I ran into a snag at CCF where his runestaff went wonky with its defender properties before/during/after I had it serviced for GBB. The long and short of it is, before GBB's assist could go through Wyrom had answered his email and had the item fixed very promplty. Kudos to the staff, items and services development. In my opinion this is the best crop of GM's I've seen in a long while. Now, if we could only Kyalia back!

Respectfully,
Matt

I agree wholeheartedly with this. Yes, there will always be a few GMs that piss people off but overall the group of GMs we currently have are awesome.

Now I'm going to have to check the runestaff I had defender properties added to.

I'm also willing to believe that it might have something to do with the way you yourself interact with people.

Give yourself a pat for not being a walking Asshat.

Some would accuse you of being a brown-noser for a post like this, however, the rest of us know better.
