I read a headline saying Amazon offered each employee $5,000 to quit. I was thinking that Amazon must be hurting, but it seems that the contrary is true. I think this is an interesting tactic for ensuring you have dedicated people working for you. I wonder how many people take the offer each year, and how many employees Amazon actually has. Would you quit if your employer offered you $5,000?


Amazon is offering employees five thousand dollars if they want to quit! But the company isn't looking to downsize - they are actually in the process of adding jobs. The company says the "Pay to Quit" Program is designed to make sure employees really want to be there. The internet giant makes this offer once a year.
