I have looked and haven't found yet, was wondering how most clerics go up their spell circles? Little help with that would be awesome. Also, I have an 80 sorc and leveled with 3x spells the whole way up. Is that not as needed with a cleric? What does a typical pure build look like? I am a halfling cleric so planning on bolting and CSing. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Typical for the build you want is probably 2x HP to 100 ranks, 1x PF, 1x MIU(may 2x at start for wands), 1x AS, 1x SMC(24 ranks by 18 if you plan on raising), 1x climb/swim(as needed), 1x perception, 8 ranks of armor for doubles, 1-2x lores, 2x spell aim, 1x split between MnS and MjS, 1x+ cleric(any left over points are tossed here). For spell progression, get 104, then up to 219(generally want this by 19), after 219, switch up to get 120, then aim for fogging spells, or 240/140, once you've got those spells you can keep training those circles for more DS, or switch your focus to something else.

So you don't recommend shield over runestaff? What society would you recommend? Looking at CoL and Voln. Recommendations? Thanks for the help.

I tend to put my pures into CoL because I am lazy about it but either society is a good choice, I'd say to take your pick based on the better RP fit for your character.

I say runestaff until you get to postcap training, there isn't a huge difference between shield vs runestaff like there used to be. Shield training also takes up tps while runestaves are basically free. You can also get flaring runestaves which certainly hold an edge over shields and ensorcell pulls double duty for runestaves, providing both flares and CvA bonuses.

Someone brought up a good point, can't really be wracking if I am bolting a lot and I am a halfling so probably going to go with Voln.
