Just curious as to how he did what he did to one of my characters and for what reason. I was walking back to the vaalor inn to rest and I sat down at a table and out of nowhere didn't see him sit at the table or anything he attacks me and kills me and then is gone. Now I looked at my logs and the only time his name is mentioned is when he attacked me. It didn't show him enter or leave my table or join me or anything.

closed, allowing a breathtaking view of the constellation-filled night sky. A freestanding torch flickers brightly nearby. You also see a placard and the lady Coleesta that is lying down.
Obvious paths: out
>sit
You pull out a chair and seat yourself at the table.
>You return to normal color.
>Paole hurls a radiant ball of energy at you!
AS: +359 vs DS: +74 with AvD: +44 + d100 roll: +22 = +351
... and hits for 159 points of damage!
Awesome lash of plasma severs your arm completely!
You feel the inner strength leave you.

It seems you have died, my friend. Although you cannot do anything, you are keenly aware of what is going on around you...

You realize that you have no outstanding favors which Lorminstra owes you, and without having accomplished a deed for Her, your soul is in danger of vanishing from the land forever!

...departing in 14 mins...
A lingering memory of Paole's presence disassociates from your existence.

Then I was just talking to someone 5 minutes later who just saw him at the broken tower how could he have gotten from vaalor to sol in 5-10 minutes tops as well as magically appear in rooms

Hmm I have known Paole for a couple of years now. He is the resident empath in Haven, never have I seen him hurt anyone.

That is really an odd happening, to say the least.

I know there was a bug when the splash effect of ball spells originally came out that allowed people across realms to be hit by them. Maybe they screwed up the same thing with this? I dunno.

Ok and more strange things happen...

Journeyman Ibar just strode in.

Ibar takes a few steps to his 14100051.

WTF is that???

Paole tried to attack a pra'eda, but the Gm's apparently never removed the global target tag from the 1110 spell.

As such, there is a bolt spell that is deadly as sin running amuck and can be shot at people anywhere, including sancted rooms. And if your name takes the alphabetic preference to an NPC, whamo you're hit.

Yeah and my name is Prardor so that works did freak me out for a minute there.

Please refrain from ever calling me a woman again as I am a man.

Given, I know Telf IRL and know hes a guy but I am truly baffled as to where you would get a female entity in your mind from that name. Again, maybe its because I know him, I just find that amusing.

It ends in an "a"
Most names that end in "a" are female names.

Sara
Emma
Julia
Amanda
Etc.

Paole's a great guy, he fogged to the lake earlier today and saved my weapon.

You're a woman, Artha. Stop hiding behind your lies.

That's one hell of a bug. Is SIMU working on it?

That's awesome. Randomly fry people! Empaths can release their passive aggressive rage! I'm sure Nakiro will love it. ;)

He obviously doesn't know you.

I would have loved to see you squirm over it though :)

Paole is the best. He helpes everyone and anyone who needs it in Solhaven. He is too old to learn there but he stays because he loves the place and wants to help others.

He has never refused to rescue someone, give spells or heal when asked.

He's a founder of Cairnfang manor. And an asset to the group.

Glad to know it was a bug as I was sure he had not left solhaven lately.. Kinda suprised to see him in Vaalor.

 Paole
