Never played it before. You guys ever tried it? I was just watching one of the trailers for it: https://register.perfectworld.com/nw_splash

Yeah, it's ok. One of the better F2P MMOs out there but it does a lot wrong when it comes to a 'true' D&D experience.

Yeah, I have to admit, I've never found better than Gemstone IV, even with the games that came out 20-30 years later.

It is free though.

And I don't want to spoil Archeage for myself. And there aren't any good recent RPGs out.

Only 6 more months until the Witcher 3!

Only 6 more months until the Witcher 3!

That is still a half year away, too long. TOO LONG.

I still play this, and have for several months now. New module just came out, and I think it's interesting. As other people have said though, it's not your 3.5 edition ADnD...I'm not sure if the game is running off the newest DnD edition or what, but it does use the general DnD locations and lore.

As free-to-play goes, it's one of the better, in the sense that everything in game is honestly available without paying for it. There isn't any premium content or pay-to-win special items...in fact, the best equipment in the game has to be quested/dungeoned for and then personally crafted, and binds to you once it's done. The main thing real money can buy you is refinements for enchantments and artifacts, which take a LONG time to get manually without paying.

I found it incredibly interesting and engaging doing all of the quests up to 60(the level cap), and the pvp is pretty good after 60, imo. After you do all of that, it's easy to find yourself still logging in for an hour or two pretty much daily, just to do a little pvp or help a guildie with a dungeon or something. They also have the Foundry, which is amazing imo...you can use the Neverwinter Toolset to design your own duneons and quests and upload them to the game for others to play.

So bringing up an old ass game, anyone who played this notice a theme...some of the locations match gs areas rather well.

Also anyone still play?? Just started and it would be fun to fuck around on Xbox

3 years old as a ftp based on current D&D modules ain't bad. Sword Coast Legends has potential if it continues patching and the Rage of Demons DLC is good. Otherwise, Pillars of Eternity, Baldur's Gate Dragonspear War and Divinity are the truer OG top down options. Shout out to Chris Perkins from D&D. Best DM on the planet essentially.

Played this a while ago, until around when the 3rd set of dailies came out in the frozen town. Really dug the active combat aspect of it all, and was getting pretty darn good at PVP. My wizard was a boss, and a I had a good GWF too.

I wonder how many astral diamonds are still on that account. I whored the heck out of leadership.

Anyone have an Xbox account they don't use with gear? Trying to grind while everyone op is bugging me and my urge to spend money is nil
