Hi All,
I'm looking for input on what might be out there. I want to purchase some soft leather armor, but I don't want it to be called "some double leather", "some full leather", "some ______ leathers", etc.
Looking for alternatives. I've seen "armor" and "a buff-coat" that are considered leathers, but that's about it. I was wondering what else people might have seen around. Doesn't actually have to be for sale currently, I'm just wanting to know what alternative names you might have seen used for leathers before, so I know what to start looking for.
I appreciate the help.
Your careful inspection of a suit of tenebrous armor tooled with silver glyphs allows you to conclude that it is soft leather armor that covers the torso, arms, legs, neck, and head.
Two spherical depressions adorn the tenebrous armor, approximately the size and shape of a small gem. The chambers currently hold a swirling cardinal red orb, and a swirling cardinal red orb.
The chamber surrounding a swirling cardinal red orb is alive with steady radiance. It appears to have come a bit loose in its depression, and could easily be pried free without causing any damage.
You see nothing unusual, except for a small enchanter's glyph.

LOL, talk about a home run right off the bat. That's pretty much the apex of what I'd be looking for. Very nice indeed.

Nothing wrong with 'some double leather'. That is what I wear. I bought it off the shelf in the landing armor shop.
>tap my leather
You tap some double leather that you are wearing.

Currently has 7 to Strength and 7 to Dexterity orbs in it.

My sorcerer currently wears 7x reinforced leathers that I had altered to "some time-worn golden leather armature". It's the second set of leather 'armature' I've had altered, but in all fairness both alterations were done many years ago. You might get away with a leather cuirass on light/full leathers, or leather jerkin. I've had some luck poking around www.thesaurus.com in the past when I'm working on alters.

Jerkin, coat, tunic, hunts can all likely work as well.
