Wondering if anyone came away with at 1612 self knowledge enhancement.

Would love to talk about creating some 1612 imbeds. Anyone know if it's even possible?

Just be aware that they'd be quite expensive as use of 420 with enhancive spell knowledge drains more charges.

I think it takes 1 charge per imbed. There was/is a runestaff with it and I think it was quite expensive. However, since there are several people doing BP recharge for silvers/cash it might not be overly prohibitive.

The other side is that you could just buy/make a level 30ish paladin and use 208 gems or the spell and put it on your second account.

The OP can offer to charge up the SK using BP. The owner has nothing to lose that way.

I've heard they drain exactly three enhancive charges per item imbedded.

I wouldn't be surprised if the number of charges drained is based upon the total mana imbedded.

Make sure you put it in something that's MR if you want to get the most out of it.

I know of two who did. They both read this board.

No luck yet, but thank you for all the info about using it to imbed.

Recharging the item is a given. Any idea on an estimated recharge cost in BPs?

I know a 1606 self-knowledge recharge cost is like 120k points or something crazy so you can expect the 1612 to be as much or probably more. Your best bet to get a mage rechargable imbedded is to ask during the recharge for silver session each New Year since you can then just pay the person with silver and they can recharge it themselves and they also know they will be able to fill it back up if they want without using up the points.

This is actually what I was hoping to do. I have the BPs for a full charge or two, but was hoping to save them with the "event".

Still haven't heard anything though, so it may not matter.

I did win one and have it on a ring currently. Not sure, given the inexact nature of charges, that I'd be comfortable burning through charges with this though, sorry. :(

Just charge it up to max, then sell a specific amount of charges, and then charge it again to test. Simple as that.

if you could also locate a 420 scroll you could talk to me about a job.

No harm to the ring, but expensive as hell to recharge.

Creating an imbed from a self-knowledge takes 3 charges from the item. Recharging at the AdvG gives 10 charges per go. Therefore you should be able to get 3 420ed items for the price of one recharging.

Just as a disclaimer, that is info I've pieced together from various sources, and not specifically from testing spell knowledge imbedding. If SK holds to the same rules as other enhancives, that should be correct. Someone should test it out.

Still nothing, but I see the idea hasn't gone ignored.

Doesn't look like your bidding on it though, curious Sorcasaurus if you thought you could get some MR's imdedded much cheaper than 2.5 mil each or not?

I also wonder if someone starts flooding the market with a lot of MR spell items from a spell knowledge (like 1612) item if the GM's will go and up the BP charge cost on it to deter it?
