Free SF&F E-Books

Baen books is an excellent publisher of some very good authors. I recommend this site for anyone who enjoys reading this genre.

I remember when Baen was first getting started. They were extremely picky about the authors and stories they'd print and to this day I think they've maintained the high quality. They don't mass publish everthing that is likely to sell enough copies to make a buck no matter how inferior it is like the others.

Jim Baen's a fairly nice guy too. I met him once or twice at science fiction conventions that I worked at. He started the science fiction club at the college I went to and we'd put on a convention every year. It's still going strong too (I-Con).
