Who cares what they think? Meaningless comments are meaningless. They shouldn't affect your state of mind or deprive you of the utility of the forum. I myself get one or two red or gray reps for nearly every post I make. Some of those rep comments are over the top with tons of four-letter words and commands for me to close my account here and "GTFO NOW," to quote one of the idiots.

Given that the person bidding is most likely -not- one of the people sending you negative rep then your whole "I don't want to sell to assholes" is rather unfair, but I'm sure you don't see it that way. You complain about having to sell something on the PC, yet you are perfectly capable of selling it on lnet during the event itself. So perhaps instead of bitching and complaining about it on lnet and then shitting all over the people you're actually trying to sell to you should have used that option instead. While lnet may coddle you, the PC has no place for self-proclaimed victims.

That's kinda what I was saying. If I bid on the item and was later called an asshole for doing something I didn't do, I wouldn't think very highly of the person. I just don't think everyone should be lumped into the same category because maybe it's just a few idiots.

People here are going to be meaner via rep because it's anonymous, but there are enough ways around it that she could easily have just not posted. Um, that's fairly tame compared to some of the rep I've received over the years, hell go look in the respond to reputation comments and you'll see those are pretty blaise for the PC in general.

Luckily the bidders realize that the comment wasn't aimed at them but vented out of frustration of the actions of others who then had to use me venting on lnet to create drama here. I purposely didn't say it here cause I knew THIS would happen. There were a lot of parts of CCF I wanted to auction off but after this it looks like I'll have to sell the other tiers privately through people I know cause this is getting ridiculous.
