Works 1x per day. Summon someone to you. Same range as gold ring. Can not summon someone against their will.

Can summon someone in RT lock, but no stunned or dead people. Does not need to be attuned in any way.

so, how does it work exactly? Do you pre-set it to summon someone, like the rings? Or do you like "summon poloneus" and they get a message like "good day, kind sir, have you heard about the religion of Koar, please nod to be moved to the church of koar" or whatever. Dear lord, I need more sleep.

The latter. You do not have to pre-set it. Just <point character> and "character" will get a lil msg and they say yes and poof.

I doubt it, but going to kill someone tonight or tmw to test. Will try to test stunned characters too.

The link posted would seem to indicate no, however... I believe it says they must be alive and within gold ring range.

The ring used to awesome for rescuing the frequently dead, why go to them when they come to you

Regardless of what the post says it does not need to be attuned. I tested it on Jeril yesterday. He was in TC, I went one south and "point orb at jeril" and he answered yes and was transported. I didn't do anything prior to pointing it at him and had never used it on him before.

I'm not so sure. Jeril doesn't need to be summoned. He just shows up.
