Won this raffle for "A leather codex with stamped brass edges". The handicraft of Magescribe Chrysogon, these codices will hold your scrolls in a more organized format.

An empty leather codex with stamped brass corners

holds 10 scrolls, counts as 1 item
flip through by spell name or number
zested, can be unlocked for more zests and to hold 20 scrolls

You analyze your leather codex and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item has restrictions on changing the noun."

The creator has also provided the following information:

The leather codex is designed to hold scroll-type objects when pushed, and the scrolls can be retrieved
when pulled. In addition, the codex can be searched for specific spells on scrolls using FLIP.

Example: flip codex <spell mnemonic> or flip codex <spell number>

The codex's noun may be freely altered as long as it stays some sort of open/closable book or binder-type
object as the item references covers and pages.

NOTE: The codex's first 15/15/15 field will change as scrolls are added/removed, so any alterations to the
first 15 will disappear.

The codex may have a long description or show.

The codex is currently locked.

You can tell that the codex is as light as it can get and that its pockets could not possibly get any deeper.

You carefully unclip the binding of an empty leather codex with stamped brass corners and slip a forest green scroll in at the front.
