What is this world coming to when Disney characters molest kids and push people around?

I'm surprised they even let him in another costume after what he did to that little girl.

How was he ever allowed back as an employee?? That many kids Disney shouldn't take ANY chances.

Earlier this year, Disney suspended Chartrand after a 13-year-old accused him of fondling her while he was dressed as Tigger. A jury acquitted Chartrand of those charges, and Disney let him return to work August 6.
He was found not guilty of the charge. Why would they keep him off the job if he wasn't to blame? False claims do happen.

Not sure how it is in the US but in the UK it is really hard to get a criminal charge to stick (Burden of proof="Beyond reasonable doubt" - in Civil courts burden of proof ="On the balance of probabilities" )
Just because a jury doesnt find someone guilty, doesnt mean they are innocent.
It just means there wasnt convincing enough evidence to convict someone.
Also bearing in mind that many people get away with sexual offences on technicalities and shit...again, it doesnt mean he didnt do it.
Also, he looks like a perv.
Edited to remove stray smilie

Since he was put off the job because of the allegation of child molestating, Disney could not keep him off once he was found innocent. At least not without other legal problems.
Not taking sides on his guilt, innocence or other nicknacks.

Well, if Michael Jackson can get away with molesting children for so long, why not everyone else, hey?

God bless liberal lawmaking. Makes it so easy to get away with murder.

Also, he looks like a perv. I certainly don't think "Disney" when I look at that picture, but the burden of proof is the same as your's in criminal cases, not "judge a book by its cover".

I don't think this guy working in a Goofy costume has the same ability to throw money at a problem until it goes away.
And on the issue of his looks... don't you think people that might scare you SHOULD be working behind a mask?

Okay...I admit I didn't read the whole article. I just saw the part about him molesting a girl while he was dressed as Tigger and then the thing about Goofy and I was like :wtf: :spaz: :soapbox:
Innocent or not, my motherly instincts bring me back to my initial post. They (Disney) should have found something else for the man to do that DIDN'T involve interaction with children.
