Okay so ouch..it already hurts and it's only been two hours..but I finally got them out.

The local anesthesia is wearing off, and I'm starting to feel the tingle of pain..not very nice..so I took my vicodin that the doctor gave me. I doubt I'll be awake much longer.

I can't wait until this feels better..:whimper:

Give it a week. How many pills do you have? I ran out pretty rapidly.

That seems to happen a lot with Vicodin.

Take one. Half hour later wonder when the last time you took one was. Take another. Pass out for 8 hours. Wake up. Repeat. :)

They tried to take mine, but I wouldn't let them. Oh, no no no! Never trust a dentist. That's my motto. They have ulterior motives. I'll stick with this rusty ice skate, thank you very much.

I'm just glad it's behind you. This pain, at least, will pass as you heal. Get some sleep! :)

Dude, I opted for the IV drugs to knock me out. No way I could be awake knowing what they do. Best hour of sleep I ever had in my life. One minute, the doc is making me count back from 5, I blink, and my mouth is full of cotton. I didn't even realize that time passed. I need more IV drugs.

~shudders~ You're lucky... two hours after my surgery I was puking up blood and taking nonsense. I have nearly all of my vicodin still cause every time I tried to take it I puked it back up so we gave up.

Having my teeth out was kinda fun in a way. The IV drug part was pretty sweet, and I didn't really have that much pain. The only thing that sucked was that the dentist didn't tell me I had to eat a lot of food when I took my pain medicine (they gave me naprosin and i know i spelled that wrong). I guess if you don't eat enough it can cause bleeding stomach ulcers.. Apparently jello doesn't qualify.. so it didn't take me too long to start throwing up unfortunatly. However once I stopped taking those and started taking like 3 or 4 regular tylenol I was fine.

Naprosyn or Naproxyn. Either way is acceptable.

I never needed my wisdom teeth taken out. When I got braces put on in 8th grade, they extracted 4 teeth. That made enough room for my wisdom teeth -- unfortunately, they didn't give me any drugs at the time, I think I was 13. I had to go back 4 times, once for each tooth. It was hell.

I kept my wisdom teeth. Got them sealed like all my other teeth (yes I'm spoiled). Just keep the things clean and as long as they come in straight, there isn't much reason to get them out.

My problem was it moved into my two molars, and cracked them on both sides.

I just have been sleeping most of the time. I just took another one, so I would say I'll be sleeping in 10 minutes. The stuff makes my head feel like it weighs about 100 pounds. Of course my jaw absolutely hurts like heck if I don't take it, and the actual surgery place where my teeth were taken from is painful.

My dentist said that I have great teeth, so I won't be getting any more pulled..thank god.
