Survival skill...best utility skill in the game or what?

I used to think this skill was useless but now being able to zip past all of the ice patches is just awesome. AWESOME.

Any other survival skill love out there? Even for other boring reasons like bandit traps?

I'd like this skill more if someone would show how different amounts of this skill affect skinning depending on wether you're offensive, defensive, kneeling or standing. If someone would do that through all the ranks of the survival skill that'd be great.

PF isn't a utility skill, why do you think it is up in the section with all those other combat skills?

I have 202 ranks of survival and I like it, a lot less slipping on the ice, spotting bandit traps, foraging, staying out in cold weather longer, better success rate with fire building, and of course skinning.

Survival is awesome. I picked it up just for the Icemule trail (my Familiar Gate script worked great but ate a lot of mana, 120 minimum with familiar already out) and the foraging and skinning part of it is pretty fap
worthy too.

I approve of Survival.
