Let's Do Some Lines

Ok my friends, so as mentioned, with every chapter posted, I will attempt to break down each line of Scripture, and examine them for exactly what they are, related to science, history, the present, the future, prophecy, etc.

Let’s start with line 1 of Genesis, Chapter 1.

1 In the beginning God created the Heauen, and the Earth.


Alright so beginning with line 1, we have the statement that says that “In the beginning God created the Heauen, and the Earth”. This is a very important statement when we really look at it for what it is. Perhaps many people have wondered to themselves in the past which it was that came forth. Life itself, or the sky, the Earth, etc. I myself have often wondered this in the past. Did Life come first, in the form of some microscopic creature like science has tried to portray, born out of a sort of cosmic soup, and then everything else was created around us? Or, did everything around us come first, and then we arrived on the scene?

Well, this first line of Scripture of Genesis chapter 1 gives us all the answer we may have been looking for. It clearly states, without any contradiction, that the Heavens above the Earth, and the Earth itself, were created first, without any Life at all being present on them or in them at the time. This is what happened in the “Beginning”. So therefore, this happened before anything else happened, either here on the Earth, or anywhere else in the “Heavens”. So the structure itself emerged first, and that layed the ground work for the rest of Creation.

Ok, so, now we have learned what came first in the order of Creation. It was not Life first and then The Heavens and the Earth, it was the Heavens and the Earth first, and then Life. Now we can move onto answering the second question that almost every single Human Being will ask themselves at one time or another. “Who then, made the Heavens and the Earth?” “How did they get here?” “How did they come to be?” Well, believe it or not, this line of Scripture, line 1, gives us the answer to that as well. “In the beginning God created the Heauen, and the Earth.” That’s right folks, it didn’t happen by accident, it didn’t happen under “just the right circumstances” as science would lead us to believe, it didn’t come about as part of a “natural cycle” or anything along those lines. No. Line 1 of Genesis, Chapter 1, CLEARLY lays it out for us as far as WHO and WHAT and HOW the Heavens and the Earth came into existence. It says it was GOD who caused them both to be. GOD. Not chance, not chaos, not randomness, not anything else, except for GOD. That my friends, is the TRUTH. Not what you read in magazines, not what you watch on the discovery channel, not what you hear from some “ancient tribe”, but what you read right here, In this Holy Book, in this Holy line of Scripture, is the TRUTH about the Heavens/Space and Sky, and the Earth.

Ok So here, we have another amazing statement. This line of Holy Scripture clearly tells us that when the Earth was first formed, it did not have a form. No form you say? Just how could that be? Well, I’m just as clueless as anyone else is. After all, what would an Earth without a form actually look like? Did that mean that it was sort of a two dimensional structure when it was first created? That it actually was “flat” like so many people on the Earth at one time believed? Did that mean that it existed in the form of nothing but particles and had only a molecular structure? Well, we can’t say exactly for sure just how the Earth looked when God originally designed it, but we can definitely come to the conclusion that from looking at this Scripture, line 2 of Genesis Chapter 1, that the Earth definitely did NOT look like it does today. Either from Space, or from the way we view it here on the surface. That much we can say for sure.

There are other clues, however, as to just what kind of state the Earth was in when it was first brought forth by the Lord. This line of Scripture tells us that the Earth was “Void”, meaning that according to the Scripture, at this point in time, the Earth contained absolutely no matter at all, which rules out the molecular structure theory, and that it was completely empty. Meaning it had no substance whatsoever. Yet, we know from this Scripture that it was there, so how mind boggling is that? So then, if it didn’t contain any matter when it was first formed…then what DID it contain? Well, we have another clue as to what the Earth contained or was part of when it was in it’s immediate state from the Lord. The next part of this line of Scripture says that “Darkenesse was upon the face of the deepe”. This is the only clue we have as to the original composition/makeup of the Earth when God first created it. So what is this “Darknesse” that the Scripture speaks of. In fact, what exactly IS Darknesse? Well, one definition of Darkness that I personally hold True to is one that states that Darkness is a “Time or place of little or no light.”

So this is pretty much the best description that we have at the moment for what exactly “Darkness” is in our present modern era. It does however seem to fit perfectly in with the description of what the line of Scripture is also letting us know, which is that in the Beginning, when the Earth was created, it was simply a “place” that existed in the middle of “nowhere” where there was no “light” and where matter did not exist. That is about as close as we may ever come while living our physical lives to describing exactly what the Earth was like when God first created it.

Now the next and very last part of this line of Scripture is most interesting to me. Next we have a statement where God literally “moves” upon the “face of the waters”. But right before that statement, we also know that this so called “Darkness” that was present in the beginning of the Earth’s creation, was “Upon” something. So in other words, there was something else present, that this Darkness was actually enveloping. What was this something? Well, as strange as it is to believe, it appears that there was a separate substance that was present, besides the Voided Earth that had been created up to that moment in time. It appears that there were “Waters” present also, that the Darkness was either surrounding, or was actually in some way possible over or under. These waters are originally described as being the “Deep”. The definition of the word “Upon” means to be upward of something, therefore giving us a clue that the empty and void space of the Earth was actually upwards of this “Deep” or these “Waters” that were present underneath the Earth at the time of it’s Creation. Underneath this empty place or space that at that time had no Light. We also know, from this scripture, that the Earth was “Upwards” of the “Face” of these “Waters”. The definition of the word Face is “Any of the individual surfaces of a solid object.”

Well, we do know that water can appear in three forms, but that only one of them is considered to be “Solid”. That is in the form of Ice, or Ice crystals. So is it possible then, that there were already these “Ice crystals” present and separate from but also underneath the Earth in it’s original state of composition as the Lord had created it? Well, as far as this Scripture appears to be telling us, I would say that the answer to that question is most definitely a YES. Besides the fact that the Scripture clearly tells us that the Earth, as a Void and as a place without Light, an Empty place, was separate at that time from the “Deep” or the “Waters” that are spoken of that were “Underneath” the Earth at that time, which the Darkness that was the Earth was Upon, we also know from a little more forwards that “The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” In other words, there was a sudden movement, directly from the Spirit of God, that began to “Move” upon these possible Ice crystals, or solid forms of Water, which was a separate activity then on the Earth itself at that time. That this was taking place “Over” or “Upon” the face of the waters that were beneath the Earth itself. So God was literally moving what appears to be underneath what the Earth was, or that Space in time with no Light, and over the Waters or the “Deep” that existed underneath it. Why He was doing this, or at least what happened next, is explained a little further on in the next line of Scripture.

I mean here we have 4,000 year old scriptures, which are giving us a better description of what the Earth originally looked like, and how it was originally formed, than any scientific document you can find on the Earth today! I mean it was only 100 years ago that science was even able to BEGIN to find some of this stuff out. My friends, if this does not prove to you by now, that the Holy Bible, is the most miraculous book in existence, than I’m not sure how else to convince you of that Truth. =)

Bottom line, NO other book out there compares to the Holy Bible in it’s complete form. Nothing. There is a reason why it was, is, and always will be the greatest Book on the Earth. The single greatest physical possession you could ever have in your presence.
