View Full Version : Estimates on what the ranges are for a few items (6-7x small shield, staff, armor)

Not sure if this is the right forum for it but looked to be the place--Looking to see what I would expect to pay for generic items of this sort:

6x or 7x small shield, 6x or 7x rune staff, 6x or 7x Brigandine or chain mail. Not really looking for anything altered really in those cases, though if there's a big discrepancy between generic and decent looking generic then that's good to know. I just want to know how much I'll need to save and be prepared to not be ripped off, since I've been away for a long time.

Thanks in advance for any help!

If you're looking for Dragonrealms you've come to the right place.

Dependant on stats, bases, and whatever else withstanding.
6x is 6mil to enchant.
7x is 12mil to enchant.
Alters/Lightens/Additives matter. Finished products can be cheaper if you hold out, but not by much, unless it's a horrible base, like cuir leather or something.

Err thanks for the reply but I didn't mean for enchanting, just buying it--I know I purchased a 6x falchion for 1.5 mil and I've seen 5x gear going for 500k or so so that seems like a jump for what I'm looking for.

I would say most 6x stuff go for around 1.5-2.5m. Most 7x go for around 6-8mil.

Fusion 7x go for about 10-15mil.

7x perfect weapons around 10-12mil.

That would be my guess.

God I would kill for plain 7x full plate for 6mil. Jeezus!
And I just sold a plain 7x perfect lance for 14mil, without even trying.
On top of that, I sold a 7x 2slot fusion lance for 19mil.
No 6x recent experience though. 5x-6x tend to go cheap because it's something to get rid of on the road to 7x.

I would listen to Jack, his advice is way more solid than mine.

Only thing I would contest is the 7x perfect lance... Most other 7x perfects go for less. 7x perfect lance are a bit rare, so I could definitely see the mark up on that one... But I bought two of mine for 10-11mil.

Ah, thanks for both the replies--Not going so high as perfect yet, just regular 7x if I can afford it (spoiler: Probably not lol) and 6x otherwise. The ~2mil and ~6mil respectively for 6x and 7x should be about right for a small shield, brig/chainmail/double leathers, or a runestaff?

You'll have a hard time finding any 7x for 6mil unless it's a horrible base. Some people need money, so they might sell it cheap, but that'd be based on you waiting for someone to be desperate. Any 7x, on typical, will reach 10-12mil unless said seller needs coin. But, your time, your coin, your call!

7x fusion brig just went for 9mil, sold by Buck.

Sometimes you just get lucky.
