From what I understand (I left for IC reasons), people offered up blood, something tentacled raped a cave gnome, murdered it and from that Kiske and Maags got their powers back. Seomanthe and Cruxophim refused to be part of the ritual.

From what I understand (I left for IC reasons), people offered up blood, something tentacled raped a cave gnome, murdered it and from that Kiske and Maags got their powers back. Seomanthe and Cruxophim refused to be part of the ritual.

So I was there for the whole thing, and I realized I am missing some significant back story. What happened to Kiske and Maags that they lost their powers? And Cruxophim clearly needed the ritual, but refused. Is he lacking certain powers too? There was some side talk about how their would be retaliation from this. Please help me fill in the gaps. I felt like I was supposed to know all this already, and didn't know how to ask IC.

Also, Is this some sort of experience accelerator for having witnessed the ritual? --> [Your recent adventures echo powerfully in your mind.]
