Monk Society

So I'm getting really bored with Voln and was thinking about switching to GoS. Is that a viable society for a 46 monk with an ambush/MOC/THW build?

Believe it or not UAC can be quite deadly in a camp with Krynch given the amount of time they swarm you.

Yeah but he's got a THW build so Krynch wouldn't be of any use. Any society is good for a monk, but you'll face the usual TD issues from casters in the warcamps so be sure to pay attention in the aforementioned swarms. If you planned to switch back to UAC you might want to stay in Voln for the rank 8 and smite benefits.

I always thought a properly trained monk with THW, duck and weave, and slippery mind or inner harmony could be effective in a camp assuming you can take out the casters quickly.

I had a lot of fun with my THW build on my monk up until the first time I got disarmed. :)
