I looked in Krakii but didn't see the answer (it's probably there but I missed it). None the less, can anyone tell me if the enchnat on a weapon adds to your overall DS. Would a 7x weapon give you more DS over a 4x weapon? Thanks.

If you are a standard OHE user or something of the like, I'm pretty sure enchant does not matter.

Runestaffs are a whole different ball game.

Calculating One-Handed Parry DS
Training in one-handed weapons provides a bonus to one's overall defensive strength. There are two steps to calculate this value.

Step 1: Calculate the Base Value

Base Value = Weapon Ranks + trunc(STR bonus ÷ 4) + trunc(DEX bonus ÷ 4) + (Weapon enchant ÷ 2)
Step 2: Calculate Parry DS

Parry DS = (Base Value * Stance modifier) + Stance Bonus

Traditional sword and board... a 4x weapon will give 2 DS in offensive and 7 DS in defensive. This number WILL increase as the enchant increases.

i believe with ranged weapons, weapon enchant adds directly to DS. 1x bow adds 5ds 10x bow adds 50 ds
