need help first time running lich on a new laptop

It opens and runs fine until updater pauses and then it just wont unpause. then I cant use any scripts, but can still move around the game.. any help?

I noticed this same thing when I tried to reinstall lich to fix the repo issue I'm having. If I loaded up the old version of lich it worked just fine. No clue what's going on.

Tillmen has special code put in lich built to mess with you... Randomly... with no way to tell why.
