If you'll read the first post and subsequent posts, you'll realize that crazymage has two characters in game. One of his characters has a not-so-nice reputation - and his other character is somewhat liked by a few people. A 3rd party found out that crazymage played the naughty character. Because of that, the 3rd party removed their bid on crazymage's online auctions for GS4 merchandise.

The posts afterwards are mainly people defending crazymage, slamming crazymage, saying how OOC it was, and one post of Parkbandit seeing the light.

you know, othorion can be a dick, but some people need to realize, its just who he is. and they also should realize, that you (not as sergey, not as othorion) have a great reputation (from dealing with you, and what people have said) with your whole gsauctions deal. who cares what your characters are like in game, i think whats important is your business ethic. and in my book, its a good one. theres only a handfull of 'merchants' around that dont constantly dick people over and with people like you/izzaac , it makes it a lot easier to get stuff you are looking for because you can expect to not get screwed. if people have a problem because you have a character that they dont like, then they just need to get over it. its not like othorion is selling the shit, and its not like you have a horrible rep.

I see no connection between the business run by you, the player, and the personalities of your characters. Anybody who makes such a connection needs to take a good look at themselves. If you can't separate the character from the player, you don't have the maturity to play the game at all, in my opinion. :shrug:

I think its dumb for this reason... OOC sales of IG items for IG coin are basically just an outlet for you to sell your stuff IG. The transactions occur IG as well. Would the original IMer have not bought the item from sergey (who she likes) if she had seen sergey offering it up on the amulet? Knowing that you play another character is an OOC thing that her character really has no idea about.

Othorion is funny. I purposefully go one north of the park to open my cloak and get crap outa it so I dont get stolen from. So one time, in between the 2 seconds that my cloak was open - in between macro's - he yoinked some random gem.
