There's nothing PC about the word "purged" in the context of a totalitarian dictatorship, I think it's the more correct word here. The word connotes more than murder; the uncle was publicly stripped of his titles and executed as a traitor. In a lexicographic sense, I don't think "murder" covers that. "Purged" has the Stalinesque suggestion of being airbrushed out of the historical record.

I wasn't aware that Kim Jong Un was white.

Maybe he's a white-Asian, similar to how George Zimmerman is the world's first white-Hispanic.
