These gloves appear to be similar to the gloves sold at EG with the added bonus of being unlocked and enhancive. Basically, the gloves allow you to transfer charges from a wand to the gloves. Then you can wave (or raise) the gloves while wearing them to cast the spell.

Clench to absorb a spell from a wand; if the wand is crumbly, then the wand will crumble when the charges are transferred to the gloves. Clenching takes some of you mana. Gloves hold charges from only one wand at a time. Clench twice if you want to delete the remaining chages in the gloves. For unlocked gloves, like these, tap or tilt will be different if a spell is imbedded in the gloves than if no spell is imbedded.

I think they work on any imbedded item that can be raised or waved. I have a pair from EG that I regularly use with gold wands, but I have also used wands from merchant events, such as a major shock wand.

Someone who uses a weapon and shield would have the additional benefit of being able to wave a wand without first emptying a hand.

They were off the shelf. Pretty cool. Granted, the off the shelf version didn't have this sort of enhancement.
