Sony BMG will release the more unusual of the two recordings, a compilation of artists who Mr. Moore said provided motivation to him and his crew while they were making the film. It includes a new song from Zack de la Rocha, the former front man for the politically charged rock band Rage Against the Machine, and previously released songs from Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, the Clash, System of a Down and Jeff Buckley. It also includes a new song from the Nightwatchman, an alter ego of Tom Morello, the former Rage Against the Machine guitarist.Except for those English guys, that's a pretty awesome line-up there.
Mr. Moore said: "There are some songs that might upset some people."I don't know what he's talking about with that, though.

Yeah, it's only missing some Godsmack, Nickleback, and Linkin Park.

Zack De la Rocha is a fucking chode face. Rage Against the Machine was so fucking shitty that it made my ears gush blood.

Yeah, Zack de la roach. Good guy to have on your CD. He supports cop-killing criminals.

Mistomeer, wtf, Nickleback? You're going down

On a related note, Moore is probably on going to put "Boom!" on his CD, the System song that he directed the video for...it's one of SOAD's worst songs.

I don't like who Bruce Springsteen supports either, that doesn't mean his music is bad. (And no, I'm not suggesting Kerry is or is as bad as [if I read Hulk correctly] Mumia Guan.)

No, I didn't say Kerry was as bad as anyone.

I was just pointing out it's always good to make sure the people supporting your cause don't also support other bad things (edited to add - If you're using them as a spokesperson or in this case, a band on a CD.) Doesn't look good on your part.

Actually, I honestly hate Rage Against the Machine. Their music has no appeal to me at all. I will never not support a band or actor or whatever due to political views. Well, except Michael Moore, but he is fat and greasy.

Rage rocks. U2 rocks. Wagner rocks. You don’t have to subscribe to an artists beliefs to appreciate their talent.

I was being sarcastic. I think all those bands I mentioned blow.

Mistomeer, when you include "/sarcasm" at the end of your post it's kind of hard for anyone to not recognize it.

Nickelback is terrible, why are you lumping them in with System? Godsmack and Linkin Park are mediocre, not my cupatea.

Not everyone gets that.

I think System sucks. I'm not a fan of today's pop heavy metal type of music. The last album I really enjoyed that was heavy was Velvet Revolver. Linkin Park reminds me of Nsync that raps. Godsmack..dear god.
